Location

The Sunninghill property is situated approximately 25 km from Adelaide, South Australia in the Hahndorf region of the Mount Lofty Ranges close to Australia's oldest German settlement. It covers some 45 hectares (approx. 110 acres) of undulating land.

The climate is in the main quite pleasant with occasionally severe  hot spells in the summer and is generally wet but rarely excessively cold through the winter months. The area enjoys an average rainfall of about 950 mm.
